Authorities from seven countries – Canada, Czechia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland – supported by Europol, carried out a major operation against child sexual exploitation from late May to mid-June 2026, leading to the arrest of 28 individuals and the safeguarding of three children. The operation also resulted in the seizure of more than 460 items, including electronic devices, crypto wallets, drugs and large quantities of doping substances; all suspects are male, and the operation is ongoing with further arrests expected.
The capacity to safeguard three children and arrest 28 offenders after months of covert investigation demonstrates the operational lag inherent in traditional law-enforcement models – the abuse had already occurred, the imagery had already been created and shared, and the children had already been harmed. Guardii's real-time monitoring across Instagram, Snapchat, Discord, Roblox and encrypted messaging platforms detects grooming, CSAM distribution and sexually explicit solicitation as it happens, flagging hostile contact before imagery is created or a child is coerced into physical harm, and surfacing the victim to a parent, safeguarding professional or police at the moment of first contact. Had the suspects' communications been monitored, Guardii's anti-CSAM and anti-grooming detection modules would have intercepted the solicitation and distribution before law enforcement spent months building a case, enabling immediate protection of the child and evidence preservation for rapid arrest.
