Schools to get extra support in anti-bullying push
Guardii Analysis
The Australian Government has announced additional funding and resources for schools as part of a renewed commitment to the national anti-bullying framework following completion of the Anti-Bullying Rapid Review. The announcement includes training packages for teachers, updated guidance materials aligned with the National Framework, and enhanced coordination between Commonwealth and state education departments to strengthen whole-of-school approaches to bullying prevention and response.
Pattern-based detection closes the operational gap between policy commitment and real-time safeguarding. Guardii intercepts cyberbullying as it escalates in direct messages across Instagram, Snapchat, Discord and Roblox, surfacing sustained targeting and coercion to parents or school safeguarding teams before a child reaches crisis, without requiring educators to monitor message content. Where framework guidance sets the intent, AI-driven analysis of conversation patterns delivers the early-warning capability schools need to act while harm is still preventable, and to discharge their duty of care in the environments where young people actually communicate.
