National Anti-Bullying Framework refresh underway as government seeks feedback

The Australian Government has launched a public consultation to refresh the National Framework for Protecting Australia's Children, with submissions open until October 2026. The review follows the Anti-Bullying Rapid Review commissioned earlier this year and aims to update national guidance on school bullying and cyberbullying policy, building on the existing Let's Stop Bullying campaign infrastructure. State education departments have been asked to align their responses with the revised framework, which will address emerging digital harms including image-based abuse and coordinated online harassment.
