Leader of 764 Extremist Group Pleads Guilty to Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Guardii Analysis

On October 9, 2024, a leader of the 764 online extremist network pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation charges after coordinating the abuse of minors through encrypted platforms between approximately 2021 and 2025. The defendants gave instructions to members, enforced network rules, managed recruitment and oversaw production and distribution of coercive material used to exploit at least eight minors across multiple jurisdictions, including children as young as 13.

Targeted detection of sustained abuse patterns addresses harms that unfold across encrypted channels and closed groups. Guardii's anti-grooming and anti-sextortion modules detect the operational signature of organized exploitation: sustained targeting, escalating demands, and the production of progressively extreme imagery, reporting the shape and seriousness of the conversation to a parent, school or authority without handing anyone a feed of encrypted content, and enabling rapid escalation when a child is subject to coordinated coercion by a network rather than a single offender.
