Indiana State Police announced 61 arrests as part of Operation Guardian Angel, a month-long initiative led by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that ran throughout August 2026. The operation focused on proactive investigations including peer-to-peer file sharing and undercover chat investigations, resulting in the rescue of nine children from ongoing sexual abuse and targeting victims of hands-on abuse, sextortion and child exploitation.
