Georgia Man Arrested on Sextortion Charges After GBI Cybercrime Investigation

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Victor Henry Vicente, 19, of Ellijay on 21 September 2026 and charged him with sexual extortion and eavesdropping, surveillance or intercepting communication that invades privacy. The Ellijay Police Department requested GBI assistance on 4 September 2026 with an investigation involving the sextortion of a woman. Vicente was booked at the Gilmer County Jail following a cybercrime investigation.
