The review creates an opportunity to reframe school safety beyond prohibition and toward real-time harm detection. Rather than relying on retrospective reporting by victims who may feel isolated or fearful, platforms such as Guardii—a world-leading AI safety system and Meta Business Partner—monitor direct-message traffic across Instagram, Snapchat, Discord and Roblox to identify cyberbullying patterns as they emerge, alerting schools and parents to a student in distress before the situation escalates.
