The investigation was conducted under the FBI's Innocent Images National Initiative, part of the Violent Crimes Against Children Unit, which focuses on online sexual exploitation of children. In May, former Metro Detroit Dr. Lincoln Erickson pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography charge as part of a multi-state investigation into child sexual exploitation.
