Dad jailed for using 'nudify' bot to make and share AI image of schoolgirl
Guardii Analysis
A Scottish man was sentenced on October 22, 2026, to 12 months in prison and placed on the sex offenders register for ten years after using a Telegram-based artificial intelligence nudification bot to generate and distribute AI child sexual abuse material. Police discovered 34 child sex abuse images and one video during a search of his home in Grangemouth, including 12 AI-generated pseudo-images of a known teenage girl created using the nudification program. One Category C image was distributed via AnonChat in October 2025. The conviction follows UK government announcement in December 2025 of new laws banning the creation and supply of AI nudification tools.
For an offender operating across encrypted messaging platforms and specialist AI bots, detection depends on identifying a pattern of predatory contact before material is created or shared. Guardii's anti-grooming and anti-CSAM modules operate within the direct-message layer of platforms including Telegram, Discord and others, detecting sustained targeting, requests for images and coercive language that signal intention to exploit a child. A conversation flagged by Guardii alerts the parent, school or safeguarding professional to escalating risk in time to intervene, rather than waiting for completed material to surface through voluntary reporting or a police investigation. This is real-time threat detection built to intercept the behaviour at the point where it can still be stopped.
